John Allen Biles is a professional stage actor and a member of Actors’ Equity Association. Over his 20+ year career, he appeared Off-Broadway and regionally. Selected credits: 1776 (Pittsburgh Public Theater); Gypsy (North Shore Music Theater); Cabaret, The Full Monty, Boy Gets Girl (Montgomery Theater); Opa! (QTIP); Ragtime, The Producers, Singin’ in the Rain, Big River, Aladdin (Peach State Summer Theater); Peter Pan, Children of Eden (Pittsburgh Musical Theater); The Last Five Years (The Company of Pittsburgh). He performed with five touring productions of the award-winning theater for young audiences company, Theatreworks USA (A Christmas Carol, Footprints on the Moon, The Mystery of King Tut, The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere). He is the current director of musical theater at Solanco High School (Seussical, The Secret Garden, Guys and Dolls, Godspell), and is the advisor to SHS Drama Troupe #1004. meet TIrzah

Tirzah Byers is currently a junior at Lancaster Bible College, double majoring in both musical theater and biblical studies with a minor in media arts production. Tirzah has been a part of Servant Stage both onstage and offstage and is thrilled to be growing in her knowledge of the backstage realm of the arts. Some of her favorite Servant Stage credits include, Sound of Music (Nun ensemble, Ursula u/s, Party Guest swing), Ragtime (New Rochelle ensemble), Frozen Jr. (Anna), Rock Around the Clock (teen ensemble). Tirzah has also had the joyous opportunity to be a part of LBC’s Little Women (Amy March/Troll), Susquehanna Stage Company’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Rueben’s Wife), Creative Pursuits Addams Family (ensemble), among many others. Robert Amaya is an award winning actor, author, songwriter, director and internationally sought after speaker. He first won audiences' hearts as the funny, yet endearing, Javier the "Snake King" in Sherwood Picture's, COURAGEOUS. He has since become a family favorite in many movies including MOM'S NIGHT OUT, FAMILY CAMP, and UNLIKELY ANGEL. On stage, Robert has sung for the Walt Disney Company as a member of the Voices of Liberty, and has performed in multiple regional productions including LES MISERABLES and MISS SAIGON. Robert is passionate about the Gospel, ministry, and its effect on the creative arts. Lauren Schaeffer is excited to extend inspiration and practical tips to students who wish to add a few tools to their acting toolbox! She has great memories with Servant Stage's youth productions, serving as the show director for Newsies Jr, Something Rotten Jr, Anastasia: Youth Edition, The Lion King Jr (2022, 2023), Frozen Jr (2020, 2022), Aladdin Jr, and Once on This Island Jr, in addition to the upcoming Into the Woods Jr this summer. Lauren is a Liberty University alum and graduated with an Interdisciplinary degree which combined theatre, ministry, and psychology. She currently works on a variety of Servant Stage projects throughout the year, enjoys performing when she gets the chance, and is ultimately most grateful to be raising Jovi and Nora with her husband, JT.

Come dance with Amanda Lewis! All levels of experience are welcome. We will spend some time stretching and working on flexibility and then dive into an upbeat Broadway/Disney dance combo. Come ready to move and have fun! Sneakers or jazz shoes are both great for this class.

meet Amanda

Amanda is a Virginia raised girl who made Lancaster her home when she moved here to perform and study at Sight & Sound Theatres. She was in Servant Stage’s productions of LITTLE WOMEN, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, and AMAZING GRACE, and has directed and choreographed several of their youth productions. She was most recently seen as Anya/Anastasia in ANASTASIA at Cavod. A few other favorite shows include MARY POPPINS (Mary Poppins), LITTLE WOMEN (Jo March), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Belle), SEUSSICAL (Gertrude), PETER PAN (Wendy) and HAIRSPRAY (Amber). Along with dance teaching and performing, she is also a wedding hair stylist, and most importantly, a wife to her wonderful husband and a mom to their three little kiddos. Amanda is thrilled to be back working with Servant Stage, she adores this company. All her love to Noah.

meet Brandon

Brandon Cameron, although originally from New Jersey, considers Lancaster, PA his second home. He has performed and worked with multiple theatre companies throughout Pennsylvania - including Servant Stage, American Music Theatre, and Sight & Sound Theatres. Brandon has worked as a performer along the east coast since he was seven years old and began working as an educator, director, and choreographer in high-school. He continued performing and teaching through his college education and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre in May of 2022. In September of that year, he joined the Broadway company of HADESTOWN where he remains currently. While in HADESTOWN, Brandon still works as an educator; teaching Broadway Masterclasses, Voice, Acting, and Dance to students from all over the country.

Rebecca Gentry is a professionally trained ballet and ballroom dancer, though she dabbles in a variety of dance styles, from Bachata to Bollywood, and Tap to Tango. She is the owner of “City Ballroom” Ballroom Dance Studio and the director of The Dance Collective, Lancaster's only youth ballroom and latin competitive dance team.  Rebecca has performed locally with the Grant Street and FRWRD Dance Companies, UpFront Theatre Company, and PRiMA Theatre. She has also choreographed for PRiMA (CHESS, CHILDREN OF EDEN), UpFront (ROCKY HORROR…, THE WILD PARTY, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, HAIR), Ephrata Performing Arts Center (CABARET), Lancaster Shakespeare Theatre, and Popovsky Performing Arts (FOOTLOOSE).  She is resident choreographer in the Manheim Central High School and Columbia Borough theatre departments. 

In this drop-in class, Rachel will discuss realism in acting and touch on some her favorite ideas from several different acting teachers including the fundamentals of acting, living in the moment, and utilizing the energy of your fellow actors! Students who drop in will have the chance to play some warm up games and get their hands on a simple monologue to apply some of these important techniques. If you've got a monologue you're preparing for an audition, bring it along! She would love to workshop it with you!

meet RACHEL

Rachel Day Hughes is delighted to be a part of Servant Stage. She graduated with honors from Liberty University with a bachelors in Theater Performance in 2013, where she met her wonderful husband, Caleb. After graduation, she performed regionally in roles like Maria in The Sound of Music, Anne Egerman in A Little Night Music, and Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, before beginning her 10 year career at Sight & Sound Theaters where she has performed in shows like Noah, Joseph, Moses, Jesus, Queen Esther, and more. She also teaches and directs for the Sight and Sound Conservatory. In 2022, Rachel had the privilege of playing the role of Fanny Longfellow in Sight and Sound Films’ I Heard the Bells. Rachel's second feature film will be released in theaters this June. Most recently she has been playing mom to her three beautiful kiddos: Arrow, Autumn, and Marigold, and supporting her brilliant husband as he serves as a writer, director, and producer for Sight & Sound.

Paul Michael Hughes is a seasoned musical theatre performer, vocalist, and voice artist with a career spanning stage, screen, and studio. He has performed nationally and internationally with acclaimed entertainment companies including RWS Global and Belinda King Entertainment, serving as Lead Vocalist and Vocal Captain aboard Seabourn Cruise Lines. Regionally, he is a familiar face to audiences at American Music Theatre and Servant Stage Company, most recently seen in SSC’s production of Little Women as Professor Bhaer. Paul’s performance background also includes lead roles in original musicals, immersive theater, and on-camera work in films such as I Heard the Bells and Brave the Dark. Danielle Poznanovic is thrilled to be teaching again with Servant Stage. Aréanna Hope Kroll is a Lancaster-based actor and BFA Musical Theatre graduate from SC School of the Arts at Anderson University. Since graduating in 2022, she has been working in musical theatre, plays, film,, and voiceovers. Most recently, she has been in Hairspray (Tammy/US Penny), Guys and Dolls (Hotbox Dancer and Mission Worker), Footloose (Female Swing), and Grace for President (Rose) with Dutch Apple. She has also recently been seen in The Diary of Anne Frank (Anne) with Open Stage Harrisburg and Loves Labours Lost (Rosaline) with Lancaster Shakespeare Theatre. Chris Faith is thrilled and honored to be collaborating with Servant Stage! He is a former Equity actor who has performed Off-Broadway (THE SECRET GARDEN). Other credits include leading and supporting roles for The Wilma Theatre, Arden Theatre Company and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival in Philadelphia. Favorite roles include Huck Finn in BIG RIVER (Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre), the Fool in KING LEAR (PSF), and Gaza in SAMSON (Sight & Sound Theatres). Most memorable stage moments include performing opposite Linda Eder in THE SEDUCTION OF SHEILA VALENTINE and performing for Sheldon Harnick (FIDDLER ON THE ROOF), Galt MacDermot (HAIR), and Martin Charnin (ANNIE) at a musical theater symposium. Chris holds an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University and currently serves as the Casting Director for Sight & Sound Theatres, as well as an instructor for Improv and Voice & Speech for the Sight & Sound Conservatory. He is a former Professor of Acting for the Boston Conservatory and former Adjunct Professor of Musical Theatre for Temple University.

Jo March is the astonishing lead of Little Women, the musical adaptation of the novel by Louisa May Alcott, and our current mainstage production. She is a beloved firecracker who dreams of writing and holds her sisters dearly. What does it take to make such a beloved and vibrant character come to life? Erin Mary Lynch is an actress, singer, and dancer from Lancaster County. She grew up performing and has been seen in many local theaters such as Sight & Sound Theatres, the American Music Theater, the Fulton Theatre, Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, and Servant Stage Company. She attended the Sight & Sound Conservatory in 2020. Erin Mary’s favorite roles include Elle Woods (Legally Blonde) and Yocheved US (Moses). She has most recently been seen in 9 to 5 at the Fulton Theatre. Erin Mary is so excited to get to work with the talented youth of Servant Stage. She can’t wait to see you all there!

Megan Schmidt is a 2020 graduate of Ithaca College where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre. She is a proud Alumni Actor/Director of Missoula Children's Theatre where she toured all over the USA and overseas in Asia. Outside of theatre, Megan teaches First Grade at the Mary Francis Bachmann School. Some of Megan’s most notable onstage credits include Suzy, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, Featured Vocalist, JINGLE BELL JUKEBOX, Maria Rainer, THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Servant Stage); Rhonda, FANCY NANCY (Vital Theatre); Evelyn Nesbit, RAGTIME (NCC Summer Theatre). Colleen Amaya is an accomplished actress having starred in regional productions of Showboat, Guys and Dolls, 1776, and The Music Man, which earned her a Carbonell nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. She has performed with the Walt Disney World Company in many roles, most notably as a member of the critically acclaimed Voices of Liberty. Colleen is the founder of the Colleen Amaya Voice Studio- teaching proper & sustainable vocal technique to artists worldwide. She thanks her amazingly talented husband, Robert, for his unwavering love and support, and thanks God for the opportunity to share the arts with her family and the local community in Central PA.

meet MEGAN

Megan is a 2020 graduate of Ithaca College where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre. From 2021-2022 Megan worked as a Tour Actor/Director with the Missoula Children’s Theatre. During this time, she performed and directed Johnny Appleseed, Alice in Wonderland, and The Snow Queen, traveling across the USA and overseas in Cuba, Japan, and South Korea. Megan is a full-time voice and musical teacher with Popovsky Performing Arts Studio. Some of Megan’s most notable onstage credits include Maria Rainer, THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Servant Stage), Rhonda, FANCY NANCY (Vital Theatre) Evelyn Nesbit, RAGTIME (NCC Summer Theatre), Sister Mary Patrick, SISTER ACT (Ithaca College), Olive Ostrovsky, THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Ithaca College), Feste, TWELFTH NIGHT (Ithaca College). meet Stephanie

Stephanie Morales is a teaching artist, performer, and choreographer. Stephanie holds her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Belhaven University with a focus on pedagogy and choreography and is a certified ABT NTC teacher in the pre-primary- level 3 curriculum. She continues to pursue her passion in choreography by presenting original works in local festivals, for dance companies, and theatres. Her credits include: SHOW CHOIR choreographer (Cedar Crest High School), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR., SEUSSICAL, LION KING JR., MARY POPPINS JR., GIFT OF THE MAGI (Cavod Theatre), FROZEN JR. (Servant Stage), and CINDERELLA (Ephrata High School). Stephanie currently is the Artistic Director of Cavod Ballet Theatre where she creates original and storybook ballets. Original works include WONDER and an adaptation of SNOW WHITE. Whether teaching, dancing, or choreographing, Steph’s passion is to instill the love of the art of dance into her students or audience. Her hope is to show the joy that dance can bring your soul. She believes that through hard work, dedication, laughter, and learning from mistakes, one can find an appreciation for dance no matter what you do in the future.
